Inspection:

The inspection of integral fuel cells consists mainly of a
check for external leakage around  joints, fittings, screws,
and bolts. The fuel cell fittings and connections should also
be inspected for evidence of leakage. Fuel cell leaks are
classified in the following categories: slow seep, seep,
    heavy seep, and running leak.

    • SLOW SEEP.— The least severe leak classification is the
slow seep. This is a very slow fuel seepage that wets a
small area. Over a period of hours, the wetted area may
become larger. A slow seep, when wiped dry, will not
reappear in a short period of time.

    • SEEP.— A seep is a fuel leak that reappears in less than
an hour (approximately) after it has been wiped dry.

    • HEAVY SEEP.— A heavy seep is a fuel leak that reappears
immediately after it has been wiped dry.

    • RUNNING LEAK.– A running leak is a fuel leak that flows
    steadily.

Slow seeps and seeps considered acceptable should be
frequently inspected to ensure the leak intensity does not
    increase.

Heavy seeps and running leaks are classified as hazards,
    regardless of their location.

FITTINGS SHOULD BE THOROUGHLY BONDED AND SHOW
NO SIGNS OF DE-BONDING AROUND THE OPENING.  THIS IS
    CRITICAL TO FUEL BLADDER SAFETY.

UPGRADES:

    OZONE RESISTANCE
The average rubberized bladder isn't designed to withstand ozone depletion.
In just a few years you may notice cracking, stiffness, a loss of color and
possibly a bladder that is unusable or that will need repair.

Head this off early.  Even a new bladder can benefit from our proprietary
    coatings.
Send us your new and used bladders and we can apply an ozone resistant
barrier that will also make your fuel cell able to hold everything from mineral
spirits and paint thinner to jet fuel, gasoline, methanol or ethanol.  This stuff
is Tough and will allow you to use all addatives.

    HEAT RESISTANT COATING
Fuel heats up as your car sits in the sun and this can cost horse power on
the track.  Many teams use reflective blankets to subdue the sun's effects
but what happens during the time the blanket is removed? Heat builds up
and don't kid yourself it builds fast.  You can have hot fuel in under 20
minuets.  How long is the time between your blanket removal and the start of
your race?  What if there was no need for a reflective blanket or any type of
device to fend off heat?  What if there was a way to make the fuel cell keep
itself cool 100% of the time before after and during the race?  The ANSWER!
    HRC (Heat Resistant Coating)

HRC is a polymer coating designed to reflect radiant heat.  This means heat
you can't see.  Active all the time you are protected at any time.

Testing has shown a 100 Degree difference in temperature beneath the HRC
coating.  Testing has been performed at temperatures upwards of 450
    degrees.

WHAT THIS MEANS?  On an average morning a fuel tank is filled with 70
degree fuel, and the temperature rises as high as 160-170 degrees in the
fuel tank surrounding the bladder.  The fuel in the bladder will remain cool.

    Scope of Repair:

Minor and major tears and rips.
We can repair areas where parts of the car have ripped the bladder such

We can recondition a bladder to it's original state
      and we'll offer a 3 year guarantee.
But you can expect it to last much longer!
